A visit to Anantara Hotel – Huahin
A very relaxing atmosphere with a lot to talk about where we visited the Anantara Hotel which is about hours drive outside o the busy and bustling Bangkok. As much as Bangkok has it’s own variety of activities to see and enjoy, Huahin is different and secluded from all that goes on in big and major city life.
A particular attraction is the night market where you go out at night to a this street full of vendors with their enticing smiles followed by samples of what they are selling to lure you in for their service. The good thing about visiting this kind of a place as much as their is a lot of vendors and a lot to be offered and see, they are not aggressive in their approach. This is something I in particular enjoyed as you feel less pressured or stressed in choosing to to secure their services.
There are merchants with food commodities, fresh farm produce, local delicacy freshily cooked and more on display all screaming and competing for your attention.
This woman was making some very delicious round bread and looked very similar to what we make in our cultural cuisine repertoire. Curiosity made us buy some and tasted and it indeed tasted similar to what we prepare as a snack.
